Cobwebs Design - FAQs

1.How do I place an order?

Simple! If it is the first time for you, create an account (it will take maximum 2 minutes). Log in to your account, upload your images, place order by filling out the simple "Place an order" form. That's it.

2.What are your payment terms?

We don't ask you to pay first. You pay only when you receive the completed images and are happy with the quality.

3.How do you guarantee low cost services?

We take the maximum advantage of low labor cost region Dhaka, Bangladesh where we consist a group of highly skilled DTP professionals who are very fast in the services we render while still maintaining the top quality output.

4.How do you guarantee 100% accuracy in your work?

All of the DTP professionals we consist are highly skilled with several years of experience in the field and we check all images for three times before delivery. First of all, we have got team leaders who look after the DTP professionals on how they are working, whether or not they are in the right path. Upon completion, we have quality controller who check all images one by one and finally goes to DTP in-charge who check for the final time before uploading to the customer.

5.How do I pay for your service?

Once you accept our quotation, we create an invoice and send you by email. The invoice contains all the details including a payment link where it says "Click here to pay this invoice". You click on that link and are redirected to PayPal website where you pay with your PayPal account or credit/ debit card. You can also log in to your account at any time where in the invoice section you will be able to see all of your due and paid invoices, you can also pay from there if you have any due one.

6.How do you accept payment?

We accept payment via PayPal. You can pay with your PayPal account, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, Solo or Direct Debit. You can also transfer money to our UK bank account. For UK customers a cheque maybe sent to our UK office.

7.Can I pay weekly or monthly?

Yes, you can. Those of our customers, who need our service regularly, are welcome to pay weekly or even monthly. Every time you place order, we add a new item to the invoice with all the details (date, batch number, quantity, job description and price). So that you know exactly how many image we processed and all the relevant information before you pay.

8.What happens if I am not happy with any completed image(s)?

Your images are handled with highly qualified DTP professionals and we do not expect this to happen. However, in the unfortunate event, just send us an email describing the problem and your requirement. We will redo that image(s) for you with high level of priority at no extra cost.

9.How do I send and receive my images?

It couldn't be simpler. We accept three types of file transfer method. •Our online uploaded. It allows you to upload, download, re-size, rename, move, delete folder or files etc. You get access on it by logging into your account. •FTP account. Send a request for an FTP account and we will create it for you within an hour. You can also use your own FTP account. In such case simply let us know your login details and we will collect your images automatically. •Email. You can also send your images by email if it is only a few and within your email attachment allowance limit (usually 10MB).

10.Do you have any minimum order requirement?

No, you can send any quantity of image. No matter if it is only 10, 5, 2 or even 1 image. We always appreciate your business and try to provide as best and flexible service as possible.

11.What are your turnaround times?

Well, turnaround time depends on the volume of picture and the complexity level. However, we deliver most jobs in 1-24 hours. You can expect to get delivered up to 500 images (medium complexity) within 24 hours. If you send for example 50 images, you can expect them to be back in 6 to 12 hours. If it is 5, 10 or 20 photos, we may deliver within an hour or two.

12.What are your working hours?

Our offshore production office works 24/7 and 365 days a year.

13.Can I apply for test work?

Yes! To allow you judge our quality, we offer FREE TRIAL work for up to two image. To apply for free trial, you need to sign up and log in to your account. Upload your images and fill out the simple "Apply for Free Trial" form. In most cases we get back to you with the completed trial image within 12 hours.

14.What is the maximum file size I can upload?

We use the server with unlimited disc space and your account or FTP is set to unlimited as well. So you can upload any amount of file/ file size you want. However, if you use our online uploader to send your images, you can still upload any amount of file at once but each file size should be below than 64 MB.

15.Can I get a quote for my images?

Yes absolutely! Use the "Request for Quotation" form to send your images and instruction. We will get back to you within a hour with your quotation.

16.What file type can I send you?

We accept any type of file. It could be JPG, TIFF, PSD or EPS. However, to save your uploading time as well as ours, we recommend that you send JPG file if it is ok with your end requirement, but of course this is entirely up to you.

17.What format will the completed files be?

It depends on your requirement. We provide any kind of format you ask. If you need clipping path only then JPG with clipping path is fine. But if you send us TIFF or any other format, we return you the same format unless you ask us to change. If you need masking service, we may send you PNG file with transparent background or PSD file with a layer mask or a second layer with transparent background. If you have any special requirement, simply let us know and we will be more than happy to help.

18.Will you use my images for commercial purposes?

Absolutely not in any situation.

19.Are my images secured with you?

Yes, absolutely. All our personnel are signed on a non-disclosure bond. Your images won't be out of office in any situation. Our equipments are also protected by firewall for both inbound and outbound security and we have the latest anti-virus protection in all computers.

20.Is your FTP server secure enough?

Yes, absolutely. We create individual FTP account for each client with different username and password. Only you and ourselves get access to your FTP account.

21.Will you put a white background into my images if I need?

Yes, and at no extra cost. Simply let us know that you want the background to be white. We will then draw clipping path first then make the background white and send you back.

22.How do I send if I have thousands of images?

You can copy all your images into a hard drive or DVDs and send to our production office directly. Contact us for more details.
